About Us

Bennett Plumbing and Backflow Service was founded in 1976 as Bennett Plumbing. the backflow part was added in 2001, when the need for backflow prevention became apparent.
 

The Founder, Ken Bennett is a Colorado State Licensed Master Plumber, and Colorado Licensed Plumbing Contractor. We are a State licensed and registered Fire Suppression Contractor, with licenses in all major cities in the state.
 
All of our associates are  backflow preventer testers and repair technicians, with certification by the American Society of Sanitary Engineers ( ASSE ) and American Backflow Prevention Association, (ABPA ), and are recertified every 4 years, as required by law.

Associate Dan Morrison, is a Proctor for both ASSE, and ABPA trainee testing and certification.

 
Associate Cecil Carter is also a Plumber with 20 years of commercial experience.
 
Ken Bennett is a graduate of Brigham Young University (1963) with a degree in mechanical engineering, and designs and engineers all of our backflow preventer installations.
 
Since 1994, we have installed backflow preventers of all types and sizes, for any kind of application where Cross Connection Control is required, ranging from 3/8 inch devices on beverage carbonators, to 12 inch devices on the fire sprinkler system in sky scrapers in Denver, CO.
 
We still perform the annual testing and maintenance of the first backflow preventer we installed.
